Many websites bring in no customers even though the business is good. Usually it comes down to the same mistakes. Here are the seven most common.

011. The site is hard to read on mobile

Most visitors come by mobile. If text is tiny or buttons are too small, they leave again.

022. The site loads too slowly

Images that are too large and overloaded technology make a site slow. Whoever waits long jumps off.

033. It is not immediately clear what you offer

At the top of the page, one sentence should say what you do and for whom. Not only after a long scroll.

044. No clear path to an inquiry

Phone number, WhatsApp and form should be easy to find, ideally on every page. Whoever has to search first does not call.

055. Outdated content

Old opening hours, expired offers or a photo from ten years ago damage trust.

066. No real photos and no reviews

Real photos of you and your work are more convincing than stock photos. Good customer reviews build trust.

077. The site is not found on Google

Without sensible headings, page titles and a local reference, Google does not know who your page is meant for. Then you do not show up when searching for "hairdresser in Bonn".
